Fit is on the small sideVerified Buyer Reviewed by JK from Illinois on Tuesday, April 24, 2018Ordered these pants from the clearance bin.
Material is okay but the fit is on the small size, especially the rise. I’m keeping them, but wouldn’t order again
High Quality pantsVerified Buyer Reviewed by Dee Kelly from Pittsburgh, PA on Monday, April 9, 2018Well made. Great fabric feel and fantastic value. Pants run small so Size up. Very good quality product at a superb price,
Great pants for the priceVerified Buyer Reviewed by Markus from VT on Wednesday, April 4, 2018Nice pants. Might be a little tight in the thighs.
Way Too SmallReviewed by Dave from Colorado on Wednesday, March 7, 2018I wear a 38 in many different types of pants and shorts. (Sometimes I can squeeze into a 36, and I aspire to more easily again someday, but that's another subject.) These are nowhere near a 38. If you're going to buy some be sure to go large! Sierra has said they will waive the return shipping charge, so good on them for that.
I would buy more.Verified Buyer Reviewed by LabCruiser from Tennessee on Tuesday, March 6, 2018The Royal Robbins Backcountry Convertible pant is very light weight and comfortable. As a forester the Supplex fabric offers full range of motion. They wash up easily and dry in no time. The STP price & customer service cannot be beat.
Did not fit at allReviewed by Colton from Missouri on Monday, February 12, 2018I bought this pants because I could not fund a lot of pants with the inseam of 34 and so when I found these for this price I was pretty excited. I was not excited when I received them and ordered the size of the jeans I wear every day and they did not even come close to fitting. I couldn't touch the buttons together and the pants looked like high waters on me. The fabric did feel nice and I liked the pants, but horrible sizing. On top of that STP charges $7 to return things to them. Bottom line is I lost $7 just to find out these pants do not fit at all.
QualityVerified Buyer Reviewed by Amber from Bend oregon on Wednesday, February 7, 2018Fit as expected. High quality, exceptional price. Husband can go from office to trail.
I'm too fatVerified Buyer Reviewed by Fat Matt from The beef state on Monday, January 22, 2018The designer must have been a skinny person. The pants fit me around the waist, but the legs and crotch were too small. I sent them back Sierra Trading post was great about it, because I had to ship it back on my dime. So double shipping cost, next time I will just buy it from Amazon.
Baggy wide legsReviewed by Spartina from NYC on Tuesday, January 16, 2018Bought and returned size 30x30 pants. The legs are too baggy and wide for me, closer to athletic warm-up pants. Might be good for layering, but these britches were too big for me.
NiceVerified Buyer Reviewed by Happy hiker from North Carolina on Monday, January 1, 2018These are nice zip off pants. They run alittle small in the waist I think. They are a little heavier than other zip pants I bought. Not a bad thing at all. Pack compact for traveling. Will see how they hold up
