I have 2 pairs of these shorts and love all of the pockets. The shorter length and heavy quick-dry fabric is perfect for hiking. Unfortunately the sizing has changed and they were way to short waisted. Royal Robbins needs to bring back the longer rise. Sadly I had to return this beautiful red pair.

Some of my favorites by far!!! Only one color and size was available when I purchased. If they are ever available again, I'll scoop them up. Great fit. Flattering with the length being just right. Love them!!!

I'm a solid size 10 in most clothing but the 12 fit perfect in these...

I kind of expected these to be "camp counselor" and a little dorky...on the contrary! While they DO hit a little higher on the waist than what I'm used to, they make my large, soccer legs actually look good! I go on nature walks and hikes throughout the week and have two pair of these shorts -- they've basically replaced my soccer shorts for these activities. I love them and all their many pockets. :) The weight is nice, too. They're not heavy or bulky at all and dry quickly. Love them!

Royal Robbins is messing with my head. I ordered a size 14 pant from them about a month ago that was comically large. In response, when I decided to buy these shorts, I went with a size 12, and they were almost too tight to button up. Urrrghghhhhh why do outdoor companies make ordering online so hard??
