Wow, another bargain! I was so surprised these are as nice as they are given the reviews. I ordered the size 4 in the light khaki and they not only are extremely comfortable, but extra nice. Beach, heck! I'd wear these most anywhere. They are that pretty! Just for reference my waist is 26 and hips 36 with longish legs for my height. So, the 32" inseam on the sz 4 worked out great for me to wear with the 2 1/2" to 3" wedges that I normally wear. With flats they'd be too long for me. The waistline touches my skin but I'm not certain that is what's holding these pants up. I think my bottom is doing that chore. I truly love this pair of pants!

The pants fabric is nice and hangs well. But it's heavy and there's no way these pants would stay in place on a slender person. On me - even in my 70s and with the inevitable post-menopause tummy - the pants began to slide downward as I was trying them on and took a few steps across the room. For reference, I'm 5'9" and 136 lbs; generally wear size 6 Long, and these pants in Size 4 fit well except for the way-too-big waistband. The pants might work for someone who's pregnant or otherwise has a substantial belly because I think that if the wide knit waistband was stretched tighter it would perhaps hold the pants in place.

These are so cute and well made and TTS. I didn't find them particularly large in the waist/hip (I have a small waist), they are low rise. I wanted them to work, but if I unrolled the knit top, the lower part of the pant made of linen is just to low in the rise. If you like low rise, these are for you. Wish they worked for me as they are very attactive.

These are so comfy it's not even funny but they are extremely loose in the waist. I normally wear a size 6 and bought a 4 based on others reviews, even these are big and I'm constantly having to pull them up. The actual waistband is longer than most yoga waistbands. The legs are longer than most pants I have. I think with a few adjustments, these pants will be great.

About Royal Robbins

By the late-1960s, veteran Yosemite rock climber Royal Robbins and his wife Liz had grown tired of wearing cutoff jeans on the crag. At the time, apparel designed specifically for outdoor adventure was virtually non-existent. After years of wishing for something better, the couple finally decided to create their own, starting with a pair of climbing shorts called the “Billy Goat.” This was the beginning of Royal Robbins’ clothing revolution. Today, nearly 50 years later, Royal Robbins outdoor clothing is as rugged and reliable as ever. When you buy a Royal Robbins sweater or shirt, or a Royal Robbins pair of pants or shorts, you can bet it will fit great, whether you’re climbing in the Sierra Nevadas, camping in the backcountry or relaxing in your own backyard.
