I am buying another pair of these as I literally almost wore my first pair out. These are warm without being bulky, fit is very flattering and they repel dirt without being stiff.
I first bought these in a sporting goods store and paid full price. I was bummed when I got tractor grease on them and... Read More

These pants fit great but were very strange. The pant legs were very wide, the materieal was very strange in a cozy, warm sort of way. They would be great for walking the dog on cold days but too odd looking for me to wear anyplace else.

I wear these pants to work and will travel with them, too. The bell bottom style makes them impossible to hike in but two out of 3 uses is okay. Moreover, the length would also make it difficult for me to hike in them(my trouser pants are an of inseam 32"; these pants are longer b/c I wear them with 1.5 inch clog) Lined with a soft/warm material--perfect with icy winds.

I am typically a size 6 but sized up to an 8, which is a tad too big but still comfortable. Size 6 is too tight in the butt/hips/thighs.

These pants are wonderfully made, with mesh pockets and inside, soft lining. However, I usually take a size 10 - 12. I ordered a 12 and it´s much too snug. I can wear them, but only after I haven´t eaten for a few days! Will order a size 14.

Unfortunately pants were too small, but I thought it was worth taking a chance on them.

About Royal Robbins

By the late-1960s, veteran Yosemite rock climber Royal Robbins and his wife Liz had grown tired of wearing cutoff jeans on the crag. At the time, apparel designed specifically for outdoor adventure was virtually non-existent. After years of wishing for something better, the couple finally decided to create their own, starting with a pair of climbing shorts called the “Billy Goat.” This was the beginning of Royal Robbins’ clothing revolution. Today, nearly 50 years later, Royal Robbins outdoor clothing is as rugged and reliable as ever. When you buy a Royal Robbins sweater or shirt, or a Royal Robbins pair of pants or shorts, you can bet it will fit great, whether you’re climbing in the Sierra Nevadas, camping in the backcountry or relaxing in your own backyard.
