I like that this shirt is not too flashy and comes in a neutral color. The material is not too thin and not see-through. It works well with a scarf or a nice necklace.

Nice quality. Flattering fit and colors. A little snug, but Royal Robbins tends to run small. Fabric a bit scratchy, hoping will soften up with washing.

I really love the design of this shirt. The ruching along the sides is really trendy. It is a nice weight for fall and winter. The material is soft and warm while resisting wrinkles, if you never iron like me. Just know that it is extremely form fitting. It literally clings to your body but is not uncomfortable. It feels very snug but nice. It does show a few bulges I would rather not advertise, so I will probably layer it under something else. I am trim and ALWAYS wear a small or medium. I bought this in a medium and could maybe have used a large, if I wanted to hide those slight bulges around the waist area. Or maybe this will just motivate me to exercise more. In any case, I'm keeping it, because I like it that much. I might even buy another in a different color.

I took a chance and ordered this shirt in 4 colors. Based on other reviewers comments, I sized up one size from my usual size which worked out perfectly. I love the colors, the quality, and fit of these shirts. Don't think the photo shows it, but they are slightly gathered on the sides as well as at the front, which is a nice touch. I'm wearing one of them right now and it is very comfortable and warm for layering now that the weather in New England is cooling down. Very happy with this purchase.

Thus shirt runs a bit small/tight. 5'4" 130 medium was a bit snug.

I can wear anywhere from a medium to a large. I went with a large on this shirt as I don't like a skin tight look. It fit perfect. I have now acquired this top in many different colors and they have all washed up well. I wash most of my close in cold and hang dry but if I'm in a hurry I have thrown them in the dryer and they have survived just fine. I like the ruching on the side as it helps hide the fact my waist isn't as small as it once was!

About Royal Robbins

By the late-1960s, veteran Yosemite rock climber Royal Robbins and his wife Liz had grown tired of wearing cutoff jeans on the crag. At the time, apparel designed specifically for outdoor adventure was virtually non-existent. After years of wishing for something better, the couple finally decided to create their own, starting with a pair of climbing shorts called the “Billy Goat.” This was the beginning of Royal Robbins’ clothing revolution. Today, nearly 50 years later, Royal Robbins outdoor clothing is as rugged and reliable as ever. When you buy a Royal Robbins sweater or shirt, or a Royal Robbins pair of pants or shorts, you can bet it will fit great, whether you’re climbing in the Sierra Nevadas, camping in the backcountry or relaxing in your own backyard.
