Cute as a skirt

This could be worn as a dress but it looks better as a skirt. I normally wear a small but xs for better.

I like that it can be a skirt or a halter dress. It is good for travel when there are options. The fabric is soft and very comfortable. I think it will pack very nicely.
  • Good quality, but style not great

This is very soft & good quality, but it doesn't work well as a skirt because of the way the fabric bunches up. I bought this mainly to wear over my swimsuit, so it will work great as a swim coverup in Hawaii this fall.
  • just weird

Maybe this works as the halter dress. I don't know. If someone bought it for that purpose and really loves it, she'd better write in and say so. I love the soft, multiple-layered gathered skirts, so I had high hopes for that function of this piece of clothing. Here's the problem: the waist drawstring is also the halter top drawstring, and when you pull on it to tighten around your waist, the fabric bunches up in the middle to accentuate your [...]. So you end up with two poofs of fabric on either side of your belly button.

Fashion disaster. I had to send it back.

The length is a little weird for me. I am 5'5" and it ends above my ankle which is not what I had hoped for.
I returned it for that reason but besides that it is a nice skirt

About Royal Robbins

By the late-1960s, veteran Yosemite rock climber Royal Robbins and his wife Liz had grown tired of wearing cutoff jeans on the crag. At the time, apparel designed specifically for outdoor adventure was virtually non-existent. After years of wishing for something better, the couple finally decided to create their own, starting with a pair of climbing shorts called the “Billy Goat.” This was the beginning of Royal Robbins’ clothing revolution. Today, nearly 50 years later, Royal Robbins outdoor clothing is as rugged and reliable as ever. When you buy a Royal Robbins sweater or shirt, or a Royal Robbins pair of pants or shorts, you can bet it will fit great, whether you’re climbing in the Sierra Nevadas, camping in the backcountry or relaxing in your own backyard.
