This skirt is a nice length and will be perfect for summer wear or warm weather travel. It drapes very nicely and does not accentuate any bulges in my 50+ year old body. It will be so much nicer than wearing shorts. I bought the matching top also to give it a summer dress look.

Love my skirts! I ordered two and glad I did. You can hike in this skirt, switch off the top and the shoes and be ready to go to dinner. Dress it up or casual. Cute little flair to it also.
  • Soft Jersey Fabric... No zipper.

or some reason, I was not expecting this skirt to be a lightweight jersey fabric. The short length, gathers at the belly and rear, and boxy shape were not flattering on me, but they might suit someone else.
It was a pretty color, and the pockets were nice. They were just regular pockets; the hidden zip mentioned in the description did not exist.
Very lightweight, cool for summer weather. Fabric not see-thru. Very soft.
True to size, maybe even a bit generous, typical of this brand.
Not for me, but maybe for you.

I think it runs a little large. I am 5'4" and 133 lbs and a small is a tad big.

lightweight breathable slightly stretchy skirt with a comfortable elastic waistband and front side pockets; it has a few pleats in the front which may help hide a less than perfectly flat stomach. the pattern allows you to mix and match different colored tops. i think it could be a good travel skirt.

About Royal Robbins

By the late-1960s, veteran Yosemite rock climber Royal Robbins and his wife Liz had grown tired of wearing cutoff jeans on the crag. At the time, apparel designed specifically for outdoor adventure was virtually non-existent. After years of wishing for something better, the couple finally decided to create their own, starting with a pair of climbing shorts called the “Billy Goat.” This was the beginning of Royal Robbins’ clothing revolution. Today, nearly 50 years later, Royal Robbins outdoor clothing is as rugged and reliable as ever. When you buy a Royal Robbins sweater or shirt, or a Royal Robbins pair of pants or shorts, you can bet it will fit great, whether you’re climbing in the Sierra Nevadas, camping in the backcountry or relaxing in your own backyard.
