Runs big but otherwise niceReviewed by Misshikergirl from California on Sunday, December 3, 2017Bought this for someone who is a usual XL, but it runs too big. I suggest ordering one size down from your usual size.
Seemed SmallVerified Buyer Reviewed by mark from Minnesota on Monday, August 21, 2017I love Royal Robbins clothing. I have a lot. It is my go to first brand for shirts. They always fit me. That said, this blazer ran a bit small. It also seemed much shorter than I would have liked, but that may just be me. I would not have been able to wear anything but a single layer, tight fitting shirt under this. Even then, the arm movement was less than I would like in a travel jacket/blazer. Price was great - design nice, with many pockets and good construction. I considered a larger size (XXL), (I usually wear an XL, which is usually plenty big on me), but because of the "shortness", opted just to return it. Sorry to find a Royal Robbins product that wasn't for me!
NiceVerified Buyer Reviewed by Flocculus from Colombia on Sunday, August 13, 2017Nice construction. It has an interesting blazer-like cut, which means it looks nice but doesn't close much toward your neck. It's a nice light weight with inside pockets. It's a pretty slim cut, so don't plan to put it over heavy sweaters, etc.
it's perfect for meVerified Buyer Reviewed by The Lee from NewJersey on Tuesday, July 25, 2017i ordered M size, it fits perfect for me. My body size is 42"chest/36"waist / 180lb
Good ValueVerified Buyer Reviewed by Jerry from Washington DC on Thursday, April 27, 2017Light fabric so good for warm weather. A nice less formal option to a sport coat. Fit is a little bit looser than a sport coat but not an issue. Very good value for money
Royal Robbins and STP deliver again!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Kento from Japan on Thursday, March 9, 2017I have several Royal Robbins pants, shorts and shirts ordered from STP. Love 'em all.
This just adds one more item to that list.
The size is accurate and the quality is great. I plan to take it on an upcoming trip for use while traveling through several airports, in the morning and evening cool spring weather, and in case I need a jacket for dinner (yes, it should pass for dinner). This is not a cold weather jacket, but should be perfect for warmer weather.
if the fit works, useful jacketVerified Buyer Reviewed by allroad from high desert on Monday, February 27, 2017This jacket has the excellent Royal Robbins generous fit except for the sleeves that are a bit more snug at the forearms and wrists than you're used to in a sport coat, as another reviewer mentioned. This works for me but be aware. It's a travel jacket and practical--bridging the gap between casual and vaguely business (sport coat styling) and if you need that gap bridged youlll instantly see a use for this. Also, think of this jacket as an entry in that new category of cycling/commuter city wear. It shares a lot of features you see in those examples from small makers marketed specifically to city cycle commuters: sleek, light, weather resistant, doesn't look like cycling wear. Whether it's cool enough to wear in warmer weather remains to be seen.
Odd fitReviewed by AJR from Missouri on Sunday, February 19, 2017Tried this because the price was great, but it fit strangely and I returned it. Mostly the fit was loose, but the cuffs of the sleeves become very tight and restricting at the ends, and they have some stitching and buttons on them that would make it difficult to modify them in any way (fold them, alter them, wear them open, etc). It is a thick nylon fabric, not really suitable for summer.
Good coatVerified Buyer Reviewed by Jerry from IN on Saturday, February 4, 2017Dresses up a casual look. Ample pockets. Good for traveling. True to size.
