Great deal!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Chrizbeee from Virginia on Sunday, August 19, 2018This is my first pair of climbing shoes and my friend assured me they fit fine but I suspect they do run a bit small even for climbing shoes. Great deal though!
FantasticVerified Buyer Reviewed by Wannabe Ski Bum from Utah on Sunday, June 24, 2018Great climbing shoe for an incredible price. Fits true to size, a bit snug which is expected in a climbing shoe.
Perfect (for me)Verified Buyer Reviewed by Rob from New Mexico on Tuesday, June 12, 2018Up front, I'm not a climber... I'm more a scrambler. I needed a good shoe that would handle boulder fields on a sharp inclination. For the STP deal these were fantastic. Sizing... I'm a 10.5. I bought 11.5 and my right big toe barely touches the front.
excellent!Verified Buyer Reviewed by tomo from japan on Thursday, April 26, 2018Since you can adjust the size by tightening the shoelaces, you can wear it for a long time. It is excellent in cost performance and it is wonderful.
Decent Quality but strange fitVerified Buyer Reviewed by Tiamamamia from Utah on Sunday, April 22, 2018I wanted so hard for these things to work.. I ordered three different pairs but the sizing on them was just uncomfortable. Mostly what was bad was just the tiny area in the toe area. Perhaps I have a thick big toe? But really that was what it came down to. I got a bigger size that had extra room in the heel area and my toe still hurt. They seem like nice shoes but really just didn't fit my foot.
great shoes so far!Verified Buyer Reviewed by b from ma on Sunday, April 15, 2018I've had these shoes for a week or so and they've been great so far. I'm totally new to climbing and they're more comfortable than other shoes I've tried on that are more aggressive. I'm a women's 8.5/9 in street shoes and the 8 fit me well.
These are Awesome!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Seth from Nevada on Friday, March 16, 2018I bought a pair for me in my normal shoe size (Men's 12) and they fit perfect. This is my second pair of climbing shoes and they are way better than my first. The material is nice and they stick to the wall like glue. I bought my girlfriend a pair as well, she is a size 8 in women's and ended up fitting in a size 7 in Men's. You can't go wrong with these shoes.
Good Beginner / Gym / Long pitch shoeReviewed by Larry S from Pennsylvania on Wednesday, March 14, 2018The evolv royale is a comfortable, durable climbing shoe which is perfect for beginner climbers, and also great for intermediate/advanced climbers who want a stiff comfortable shoe to train in at the gym or for longer outdoor climbing. The shoe is discontinued. It was a good shoe at $89, and it's a great shoe when it's at $50.
I've been using this shoe for 2+ years as my gym shoe, and in that role it does not hold me back. I like the shoe so much for that role, i just bought a second pair so i can get the first resoled.
It's got a symetric toebox and fits true to street shoe size - meaning it fits just the way a climbing shoe should fit - snug but not painful. I can wear them for hours.
When climbing outdoors, however, i usually leave these home and opt for a more asymmetric shoe with better precision.
Shoes i've also owned/used - La Sportiva Katana Velcro, 5.10 Galileo (personal favorite, sadly discontinued), 5.10 anasazi (tans), Evolv Pontas
