Purchased these for my wife and she likes them. The transition is a little slow; therefore, minus one star. Just like most transition lenses, these do not get quite as dark as "regular" sunglasses.

These sunglasses just don't turn dark enough in the sun, although they do eliminate the sun's glare.. Very nice fit, comfortable to wear. I wouldn't mind this large frame if these looked like sunglasses. They don't.
  • Might be good for an overcast day

Not dark enough to combat Florida sun. Doesn't change while driving in the car.

  • Not so great

Although these are comfortable, they are pretty much useless as sunglasses. They barely change in bright sunlight and block little to no light. I really wanted to like them, but I need sunglasses that reduce sunlight intensity to prevent headaches, and these just don't cut it.

About RYDERS EYEWEAR

RYDERS EYEWEAR was created in 1986 by North Shore native Brent Martin soon after he won the first-ever Canadian Mountain Bike Championships. Brent was inspired to offer high-quality, durable eyewear to cyclists, and made it his mission to do so while continuing to follow his passion for mountain biking. Hard-working RYDERS EYEWEAR sunglasses have been designed, tested and created in North Vancouver for the past 30 years and remain heavily influenced by the Northwest environment. The varying conditions of the Canadian Northwest make the UV-reactive lens tint of RYDERS EYEWEAR photochromic sunglasses especially valuable, and impact-resistant lenses make RYDERS EYEWEAR sunglasses perfect for the rugged conditions in which almost all cyclists find themselves.
