True to size, comfortable. These pants were a great price and they fit my husband great. He is going to use them for travel, hiking and he even wears them to work on occasion.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by TUNA from VIRGINIA on Thursday, October 29, 2015I ORDERED 2XXL AND THE FIRST PAIR OF PANTS MEASURED LESS THAN 43' AT THE WAIST, I RETURNED THEM AND REQUESTED A 46" WAIST OR A REFUND. THEY SHIPPED ME A REPLACEMENT PAIR MEASURING 44" AT THE WAIST. I RETURNED THE SECOND PAIR AND NOW AWAIT SIERRA'S DECISION ON HOW MUCH REFUND I WILL FINALLY GET.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Old Florida Guy from Florida on Wednesday, August 19, 2015The other reviewers are correct -- these pants are not true to size, but run small. There is no "give" in the waist -- no elastic or tab adjustments. I have returned them to excahnge for the next size up. Otherwise, they appear well made.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by cuboardn from Western Washington on Friday, December 12, 2014They looked great the first time I wore them new out of the bag but after one washing they look like something I shouldn't have purchased. I'm not sure what to do with the second pair I haven't worn yet. Yes washing instructions were followed.

Verified Buyer Reviewed by Dip from Minneapolis, MN on Monday, June 16, 2014I purchased these pants for a Boundary Waters Canoe Trip this past weekend. I was constantly in and out of the water, and (uynfortunately) experienced a lot of rain during the trip. As a result, I was able to see how quickly and effectively the pants dry. The pants did not dry as quickly as I wanted them too. And by that I mean as quickly as my primary pants from Colombia. The quality and fit of the pants was great, although the waist was tighter than I expected. I have a 30 inch waist and ordered the small. The roll snaps feature is great, and the pants kept my legs pretty warm in 50-60 degree weather. Overall, I would recommend them for fishing, but not recommend them if you plan to be in and out of water or in the rain all day. For the price ($25-30), they were a great bargain and will definitely serve as a back up to my colombia pants on future boundary waters trips.

“I want to make sure these will fit, I wear a 36" inch waist, & know the large is what the size chart states would fit, but the reviews say the sizing runs way small & wondering if I should order the XL. ”
The L for this item is 36-38 and the XL is 40-42. If you normally wear a 36 then I would go with large, because the XL will probably be much too big.
These pants are a trim fit on me I am 5' 11" at 240lb large build but I ordered them in 2xl. The pants would be like Columbia Roc pants. I hope this helps.
