5.0 out of 5 stars. LoveVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from N. Michigan on Saturday, January 13, 2018I read the reviews and was hesitant. They go on easily, comfortable from the get go. Have not run on the trail yet, because we're under 3 foot of snow, but have used them on the elliptical with no issues. Ordered my regular size. Great deal.

2.0 out of 5 stars. too narrowVerified Buyer Reviewed by Beladozer from NorCal on Wednesday, November 15, 2017I know that Salewa runs narrow and I ordered a size up - these were so narrow I couldn't even get my foot into the shoe. Returned.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Trail ShoesVerified Buyer Reviewed by Mangy from Nebraska on Friday, July 14, 2017Like someone said the shoe is not for everyone. I like it. They have a curve to them that took a bit to get used too. They are stiff but yet they feel wall broken into. I have not experienced any blisters and they have proven to work well on different terrain.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Love this shoe!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Avid Hiker from New York on Thursday, June 8, 2017I really have finally found a great hiking shoe in the Salewa. This is my third pair. It is very comfortable once you get it on, in that, it maintains its sturdy shape, therefore it doesn't squish down when inserting your foot. But once on, it is a dream for your foot!! And stylish TOO! Because it maintains its shape there is no interference , {blisters, rubbing} at all, plus your foot is protected . No mesh shoes for me!

4.0 out of 5 stars. Very stylish and comfortableVerified Buyer Reviewed by Leslie from Austin on Wednesday, May 31, 2017Ordered theses due to integrated lacing systems & Vibram soles. Was not disappointed when they arrived. Although a bit snug (I ordered 1/2 size up due to custom orthotics) they truly fit from first wear with no blisters or hot spots. Ran 2x in them the first week with no issues and no break in needed. Even though I wear a 9.5, they look sleek and small, not like small boats that some trail running shoes portray. Very pleased with my purchase and even recommended them to our adult daughter.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Sturdy and comfortableVerified Buyer Reviewed by HP from Colorado on Tuesday, May 30, 2017These were posted as trail runners, but definitely aren't. I decided to keep them anyways since I do a lot of hiking and they are awesome for that!

4.0 out of 5 stars. Mixed ReviewVerified Buyer Reviewed by milestogo from Tucson, AZ on Thursday, May 25, 2017Ordered a pair each for my spouse and myself. He prefers women's athletic type shoes because they fit him better. We both wear separately purchased insoles designed for our respective foot types. We had very different experiences with this shoe. He liked the shoe, found it to be very sturdy, stiff, and inflexible, provided excellent support for his flat feet. He likes the rocker sole, finds it comfortable, feels that feet tire less quickly. Parenthetically, know that he has iron feet, never gets corns or blisters, needs lots of support but little cushioning. My feet are thin skinned, very low volume, and everything beats them up. I do have good arches and need little support though lots of cushioning. The stiffness of this shoe design would have crippled me. Mine got returned. This shoe does run extremely small. We each initially ordered our usual size, women's 8 1/2, and the shoes were way too snug. We re-ordered size 9 1/2 and they fit him, but were still not particularly roomy. These shoes are marginally overkill for trail running, unless you're a larger, heavier, person. He'll be using them for hiking. I'll be staying as far away from them as I can get.
