3.0 out of 5 stars. still hopefulVerified Buyer Reviewed by water_baby from Santa Cruz on Monday, February 19, 2018This was my third purchase trying to find good shoes for hiking on an upcoming trip to Alaska. These shoes were stiff when i first put them on. After wearing them for two weeks, they are still quite stiff. I got a sore heal from rubbing, but this seems to be past. I have a narrow foot and put the insert inside which was provided, but they don't seem to feel more snug and the footpad feels a bit bumpy, so I will remove them. I like the look of the shoe, and they snug up pretty well for my narrow foot, but they just aren't as comfortable as I had hoped. I will keep wearing them in hopes that they will be what I need, but I am not overall pleased so far. I wear a 9 and bought a 9.
