But the fit is perfect, true to size and they are surprisingly lightweight. I went for a 5mile walk in 35 degree weather, the boots were comfortable and my feet were VERY toasty. Definitely a boot for way below freezing temps.

Out in the slush/snow of the PNW all day and kept the feet relatively warm and definitely dry. The outsides made it look like maybe the water was getting through but all dry when I took em off at the end of the day. For the price, they can't be beat.

These are very warm, sturdy and comfortable. We've had several days of below zero weather so they have been put to the warmth test and passed easily. I wasn't really familiar with non-athletic Solomon shoes but am glad to find the same quality and comfort.
They seem to fit very true to size. I have to size up a 1/2 because of the brace and the 7 1/2 fit perfectly with the same fit as I have in the hiking shoes.
Obviously the price here is great and Sierra is always a pleasant place to do business. -

I loved them in the photo, and I was impressed by them when I saw them...until I tried them on. They are very heavy-looking and -feeling, and they hurt my ankles when I walked in them. I tried wearing them with the laces loose, and then with the laces not even tied at the tops, but still, no luck. I imagined myself snow shoeing in them, and wearing myself out in two blocks.

Size 7 US, length on the insole 24.5 cm, in appearance - large, but fit well, all the middle warmed, comfortable to wear. The sole is 2-3.5 cm, the weight of 1 shoe is 475 grams. It is written that you can wear up to -13 C. Not yet worn, but I think everything will be fine
