4.0 out of 5 stars. beastly shoeVerified Buyer Reviewed by Sanfoolish Trails from Colorado on Friday, May 10, 2019I got these monsters for backpacking and off trail running and they work- which is more than I can say for any other trail runner. I have burned through out-soles in a month in summer in the Rockies. These have a beefy out-sole with no soft foam between lugs or joints which really helps for longevity. The support is as solid as any trail Salomon- the ankle gaiter works surprisingly well and isn't annoying at all. I would caution that this gaiter gives your brain a false sense of security and I almost rolled an ankle when I first ran in these- note that the gaiter provides protection from rocks and thorns from reaching your ankle and shoe but does not provide ankle stabilization.
My only complaint that prevents these from being a 5-star shoe in my book is the pull to tighten lacing. This really prevents customization of the lacing- for example I like to use the runner's loop to lock in the my little right heel but that's not an option here. So my right heel tends to rub when walking (not so much running), but I've noticed a reduction in the discomfort there as the beds pack out. -
5.0 out of 5 stars. FantasticVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Minnesota on Thursday, February 14, 2019These shoes are comfortable and spiffy. The easy tie function is the best and the high ankle support is great for when you are walking a lot but don’t want any chafing.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great Disc Golf ShoeVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from CA on Monday, November 5, 2018If you play disc golf then you know the constant distraction of getting sharp debris in your shoes. I wanted something that would prevent that from happening and when I found the Enduro I was stoked because I have always been a Salomon man. They are light, look great, and have great grip. I am getting a lot of good comments on them and I know a few of my disc golf friends will buy these shoes now that they are aware of them. I am very pleased with these shoes.
HEY SALOMON! Design a disc golf shoe and you will see the same kind of revenue increase that Keen and Addidas did. -
4.0 out of 5 stars. Zoom in to see the cuff/sleeve on topVerified Buyer Reviewed by MN09 from Dutchess county, NY on Monday, October 15, 2018It looks nice and comfy but was very difficult to get the sneaker on since there was a narrow cuff at the entrance to the shoe that would stretch only so far. Otherwise so far it’s been comfy.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Comfort, Support, TractionVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Maine on Thursday, May 17, 2018Only two times out on these since they arrived, but I'm sold. After four pairs of various Speedcross models, switching gears to this shoe was a little bit of a risk, but I needn't have worried. I know some folks have some reservations about the cuff catching dirt and debris instead of keeping it out of the shoe, but I haven't had any issues yet. As far as wet traction goes, well, it's as good as advertised. The fit is consistent with the Salomon last, and they're light and responsive. I dig 'em.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Great shoes!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Valley Springs on Tuesday, May 8, 2018These shoes are great!
They feel like the older XT Soft Ground models that were discontinued by Salomon a couple of years ago.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Almost a 5 starVerified Buyer Reviewed by Chris from Seattle on Thursday, April 12, 2018I love Salomon Trail "running" shoes as a rule. I do wish they could get their sizing figured out. Anyway, I wasn't expecting the "sock" but I can live with it. Fit is pretty good. Arch support good. I live in the PNW so I need waterproof. I forgot that "Climashield" is not waterproof. It means if it is raining and you don't step in any puddles your feet will stay relatively dry. I have been struggling with the fit on Salomons these past years as they shift production from one country to the next so I was actually just happy to find a pair that fit. (I have been wearing trail running type Salomons since the late 90s and have multiple pairs. As I have said on other Salomon reviews I have written, I wish they could get their sizing figured out.)
