Killed My Feet
Reviewed by Susan from Alabama on Wednesday, August 10, 2016
I have had 2 pair of Salomon trail shoes in the past and ordered these as a reliable shoe for a walking trip to England. When I first got them and tried them on, they seemed very stiff and uncomfortable, but I figured it was because they were new. I wore them to break them in, but was still not happy. However, I stupidly decided it was all in my head and took the shoes to England. Big mistake. The very first day I developed a horrible blister on the ball of my foot. I did actually shop for new shoes but then again, stupidly, decided to tough it out. After nearly two weeks I couldn't take it. My blister was not getting better, even with treatment and protection. The little toe on one foot was in agony (and now has a nail that will fall off). I found a very inexpensive pair of trail sandals and bought them. Instant relief. I ended up tossing these shoes in England - literally threw them in the trash. Didn't want to haul them home. I have no idea why these were so horrible, but I will never buy another pair. Lesson learned. My poor feet suffered greatly from my stubbornness.
