Changed from previous models

For me, this shoe won't work. It has to go back. I have reliably worn the Ride from Saucony for 4 years or so; it has been a great neutral shoe with good cushion that I could get in a wide fit for my duck feet. However, they've changed the design such that even ordering the W width cramps my toes and exacerbates pressure on my second toe, which is already stressed because it's a lonnnng second toe. Saucony had been known for generous toe boxes and good structure. While the everrun feels really nice under foot, it can't make up for the fact that the shoe no won't fit me right. FYI, the sizing on this model also feels a bit longer to me. The feel of the shoe is nice, the material is soft inside and the profile is still low and doesn't rub ankle bones or the achilles. But they will not be the shoe for me. If you have a average width foot and are a neutral runner or supinator (like me) these could be great. I don't know if the feel of the toe box on the regular width is also smaller than it had been in the past.
