5.0 out of 5 stars. Hands Down the Best FilterReviewed by Anonymous from Canada on Wednesday, April 18, 2018I've owned a version of this filter for 3 years now, and it's still going strong. I've had some very questionable water go through this filter and have never been sick. Great for backcountry camping and traveling to areas of the world where there is nothing but bottled water.
I've also had a lot of fun playing pranks on people with this... filling up my water bottle from a source of water known to be contaminated whilst friends watch from a far, then taking a big swig of the 'contaminated water' without telling them I have a filter in the bottle.. Good fun.
Note, find an alternative filter for winter camping, as this filter does not do well when cold - the flow rate is horrible due to the way its constructed (hollow fiber membrane). Boiling water is usually my go to in the winter anyways. -
5.0 out of 5 stars. First Time BackpackingVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Colorado on Wednesday, September 13, 2017We had gone online to understand more about the use of this and had some concerns. Yet it worked perfectly - water tasted fine and it is a pretty intuitive operation.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Convenient, simple for hikingReviewed by Bellefemme from Seattle, WA on Saturday, September 9, 2017The best, easiest water filter. Just screw it onto a plastic water bottle (Evian does not fit, but most others do) and then fill up your bottle with even the most murky fresh water source and you've got clean drinking water.
