4.0 out of 5 stars. Good boots.Verified Buyer Reviewed by Ben from Negaunee, MI on Wednesday, April 4, 2018I like these boots. I have been using them for hikes out to repelling walls, and for going down the walls and cleaning them for climbing. They have held up really well considering most of the hikes are on snowbike trails, that still have the snow on them...

5.0 out of 5 stars. So far so good.... time will tell.Verified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Jacksonville, Florida on Monday, February 26, 2018Bought these to replace a pair of Asolo's that I had for 4 years. The Asolo's uppers and outsole were in prime condition. The material inbetween literally rotted out on both boots. I've been out on a number of day hikes with the Scarpa's and am impressessed with their grip on exposed tree roots and ankle deep mud. They didn't take any breaking in and have been comfortable on hikes of up to 8 miles with no pressure points. I live in NE Florida and so far the weather has been in the mid 80s. At this temp the boots breath well and my feet aren't hot. The boots are lighter than the Asolos and the outsole is more flexible. I think they'll make a great day hiker but I don't think they'll provide the support for backpacking.

5.0 out of 5 stars. felt great right out of the boxReviewed by Anonymous from Birmingham on Saturday, February 10, 2018These are great light weight boots that felt fantastic as soon as I put them on. The suede uppers are very comfortable and while they aren't meant for super rugged terrain carrying a 50 pound pack, they are extremely comfortable and provide great support. When I first unboxed them they looked really narrow but the lacing goes nearly all the way down to the toes and allows for getting a really good fit.
Took these out on a 8 mile hike the day after I received them and they felt great the whole way...trail was a mix of packed dirt, loose rock, roots...lower Appalachian mountains in Alabama. The soles provided great traction...almost "sticky" when climbing over rock. Trekked thru some creeks and the feet stayed dry.
I got a great deal as always from STP....I like these so much I am considering buying some extra pair for when these wear out down the road. -
4.0 out of 5 stars. Very Good, But Could Be Even BetterReviewed by Anonymous from Minnesota on Monday, December 4, 2017I've had these about a year now, and am pretty pleased with them overall. I typically wear an 11M in hiking boots and the 44.5 size is perfect for me. As a matter of fact, the upper is one of the best fitting boots I've ever tried on. And the materials and workmanship are both solid. My only complaint is with the forefoot sole/mid-sole. There is almost zero cushion under the ball of the foot. If I wear these on pavement they really pound the bottom of my feet. I tried multiple insert options, but couldn't find one that both kept the great fit & softened the ride. My other negative is that these also have a really flexible sole up front. This may be a positive for you, but I personally prefer my hiking soles substantially stiffer to reduce foot fatigue.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Like a gloveReviewed by PCharbo from Needham, MA on Monday, November 13, 2017Purchased these this weekend. Had a hard time deciding between these and AKU Alpina's. When the eyehole rivets started popping off the AKU's my decision was final. These boots fit snug. The boot is soft and minimal. Will have to see how they hold up on a long haul. Not sure how these will fair beyond lite backpacking. But i did run them through an easy 1.7 mile hike on day one and no problems. I wear a 10.5 NB sneakers and went with the 44 eu. Surprising amount of room in the toe considering the snug fit of these boots. The sole is not as stiff as some of the previous boots I have owned over the years, or tried on, but my ankle was locked down. Did not want to take my boots off after the hike. Overall great product.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Light weight hikerReviewed by Alex L from Illinois on Thursday, November 9, 2017I purchased these boots for some day hiking trips in late fall. The boots are light weight and sturdy, yet still allow you to feel the the ground through the soles. The lacing all the way down to your toes is really a big plus.

3.0 out of 5 stars. Nice boots butVerified Buyer Reviewed by GCmt from Montana on Tuesday, September 12, 2017I had high hopes for these Daylite hiking boots they seem well made, lite yet sturdy. But each time I hiked with them I got sore feet they are made for a very narrow foot, disappointing.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Excellent hiking BootReviewed by Eric the Hiker from SW Washington on Friday, August 11, 2017I have owned many hiking boots over the years but out of the box these are the most comfortable I have ever owned. Out on the trail they have terrific traction and feel great after 12 mile hikes. I even wear them as every day wear and these are a very stylish boot. Construction is excellent and they repel water like a duck's back!

4.0 out of 5 stars. Nice bootsVerified Buyer Reviewed by gpnent from marinette wi on Friday, August 4, 2017Quality made boots, have worn on a few hikes now and afterwards feets were a little sore. the heel is higher than most normal hiking boots, { I don't know if this is a european made issue, possibly} But I put a pair of sof soles in them and it helped. Overall, for less than a $100 with the added supports I like them very much and expect they will last quite a long time.
