The waterproof breathable upper has a collar that's flexible enough for comfort when logging long miles. A Vibram® outsole provides outstanding grip on loose ascents and steep descents.

I read reviews that said they ran small because of the EU size so I went a half size larger than normal and they are too long. Not too long that I can't wear them though. The smaller size is unavailable so I'm keeping these. They do not have the arch supports of Merrill boots though so if that is important these may not be for you.

I agree with the review that the heel fits nicely while at the same time allowing ample toe room (I also have a wide toe box). No need to break them in. Very comfortable.

My foot has a narrow heel and wider toe area, these boots fit me perfect. The Euro sizes run a little small consider one-half to one full size bigger when compared to American sizes.
