Great BootVerified Buyer Reviewed by Luke from Colorado Springs on Tuesday, February 20, 2018Over all, this boot is a steal and you should buy them. True to size, tighter toe box, per Scarpa brand. The 2018 line of AT boots are crazy gorgeous, but that doesn't mean you won't love this boot. My wife does and we just got back from an AT trip to Steamboat Springs. They fit great, and then they fit even better after she got a hot mold at Ski Haus, Steamboat Springs (the best ski shop and staff in the world!, just FYI). Anyways, these are kick a$$ boots, super affordable, and you'll be running laps around nerds who paid twice the price for a matte blue or whatever finish is cool right now. Also, don't buy from REI; their "Satisfaction" thing is a joke.
Great touring bootVerified Buyer Reviewed by KatieG from Fort Collins on Friday, January 19, 2018Can't go wrong with Scarpa. Never knew a boot could be these comfortable.
Just perfect.Reviewed by AspenGirl from Aspen Colorado on Saturday, December 30, 2017These boots are exactly what I was looking for. After trying on the Scarpa F1, I felt I needed something with a bit more downhill capability without being too stiff. These boots are decently light on the uphill and perfect for the downhill. Absolutely worth trying out.
Seemed great, if they fitVerified Buyer Reviewed by Cori from Washington on Thursday, November 30, 2017I was looking for a touring boot with excellent downhill performance, and the Gea came highly recommended. It seemed to fit perfectly. I was even willing to compromise fashion for utility, because yikes these things are ugly. Unfortunately, after 15 minutes just wearing them around the house in tour mode, I lost feeling in my toes. Something about how the tongue contact the bridge of my foot cut off blood flow. Back to STP they go.
