5.0 out of 5 stars. Great shoesReviewed by Qing from Ca on Wednesday, June 19, 2019after buying these shoes for a year, I could write down my experience. my street size is 6 here. and I ordered the 36.5 one. it's my 2nd pair. By the time I bought it, I had climbed for a few months. So if you are a beginner and not used to the climbing shoes, you might feel too tight at the beginning. Even for me it's so tight that every time after climbing I need to take them off immediately. But these shoes will stretch later, and after you break in, it really feel very comfortable. I have very sweaty feet, the leather on the bottom could absorb the sweat very well which both make you feel good and make the shoes less smelly. My other shoes sizes are: Evolv Elektra 6.5(upsized half, need to wear socks later); La sportiva Miura 35.5, man lace version

3.0 out of 5 stars. Nice shoes but too smallVerified Buyer Reviewed by Lorin from New York on Friday, March 16, 2018These shoes look nice but definitely run way small. I normally wear a 5.5-6 in street shoes and got these in a 38. I couldn’t even get my foot into them at all.

4.0 out of 5 stars. small but will stretchVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from DC on Saturday, March 10, 2018I'm typically a size 7 (US women), but i sized down to a 37.5. These shoes were extremely tight when I first tried them on, but after a few climbing sessions they've started to loosen up.

3.0 out of 5 stars. Run Very Small!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Eugene Runner from Oregon on Sunday, February 11, 2018Can't comment on performance because they run really small even for climbing shoes... at least a full size.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Runs small for US sizeVerified Buyer Reviewed by New climber from New York on Tuesday, August 8, 2017This shoe runs small if you base it on the US Sizing Chart. I wear a US Size 8 in gym rentals, but it's a European size 41. (My sneaker shoe size is 7.5) When ordering these shoes, it said Size 8 was a 39.5, so I got the 39.5. When I got it, it was way too tight so I had to return it and reorder a 40.5. The new ones fit well, nice and snug as they should be. So, if you're basing it on the European shoe sizes, I would say those run true to size. However, if you are basing it on US sizing, I would go one whole size up.
As for the comfort of the shoe, the heel of the shoe rubs up on the Achilles and is really painful, and can easily cause a blister. My solution was wearing figure skater Bunga pads.
Sierra Trading Post credited me immediately when I made my return, so I was able to order my new shoes even before I mailed my old ones back. Got my new ones in no time.
Despite the flaws, I would say for the price of it, it's a good beginners shoe. -
4.0 out of 5 stars. Great starter shoeVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Boston on Monday, August 7, 2017Shoe works great in a climbing gym. A little tighter than expected when they first arrived but am told they will stretch.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Good starter shoesVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Massachusetts on Friday, July 28, 2017No complaints about the shoes. Had to try a few different sizes out before I found the right fit. The size conversion chart was not too helpful in this case.
