First and Foremost... Sierra trading post has mis-labeled this product. It is NOT the top of the line Maestrale, but rather it is the Maestrale GT. The major difference is that the GT uses different materials, weighs about a 1lb more, and does NOT come with the high end thermoform liner. All buckles and the walk/ski mode devices are the same.

When i discovered this after opening the box, I was disappointed. However I did not return them because they really are pretty solid boots. I wear a 26.5 Mondo and these fit really well. Walked around for 15-20 min and they felt good.

Being that it's summer and nearly all the snow, aside from a few glacier fields, are melted, i've not had the chance to really try out the maestrale GT boot. So i can not give any review on skiing performance yet.

Setup: Maestrale GT boots, Marker Kingpin bindings, Icelandic Vanguards
