This is a great shoe. I have started wearing approach shoes instead of tennis shoes because the support is better. These shoes are lightweight yet support your feet very well. I also have the Asolo mantra approach shoes and the difference is that the Asolo are a little heaver and built better for hi... Read More

I really like these. Stylish enough for city life but durable for hiking. They climbed a volcano in Guatemala and saw art at the Met. People constantly ask me about them.

I used to buy approach shoes a lot- because they don't have clunky soles and are light, fit comfortably. Haven't found reasonably priced ones for any years. I used to buy 2-3 pair at a time when they were on sale as they are so hard to find and I wear them out in a year or so. I now have neuropathy in both feet, so fit is very important; bad fit makes walking very painful, even from a wrinkle in a sock. y shoes have to fit in a very particular way or I suffer. These happen t come in a 12 1/2, which is also hard to find. I find both 12 and 13 hard to wear so I grabbed a pair of these my real size. They fit nicely, they're great for walking and especially good when driving any of my stick shift cars. Those widesoledrunnig shoesare always fouling the pedals.

This shoe is a casual version of Scarpa's Zen. Perfect for my use, walking the dog. If you think something which could reasonably be called an approach shoe would be a bit much for dog walking, you haven't seen the broken landscape of sidewalks in New Orleans. For reference, Scarpa classifies the Mojito as a "lifestyle" shoe, and the Zen is classified as a "light hiking" shoe. This classification seems pretty accurate, the Zen being considerably more structured and rugged (I own a pair of those as well). In comparison to the Zen, the Mojito is like putting on a pair of slippers. But, like the Zen, the toebox is a bit tight. The "to the toes" lacing gives you a good deal of room for adjustment, but people with wider feet might need to go a size up.

This is my second pair of Mojito's and they are great. I do a lot of walking indoors and outdoors every day and these shoes are functional, comfortable and look good. I've never had people go out of their way to comment on my shoes before, but they do with these. The lacing to the toe provides a great fit, although they would not be the best for wider feet. The Vibram soles are long lasting and provide traction needed on snowy days or muddy paths.

Great for around town or as a light trail show. Durable, comfy and I love the way they look.
