Lightweight hikersVerified Buyer Reviewed by Johnny walker from Texas on Tuesday, August 1, 2017I love these shoes. They look like would be on heavy side but are very light weight and provide good traction and cushion.
Great lightweight hikersReviewed by Happy Hiker from Rhode Island on Wednesday, May 3, 2017These are nice, lightweight, and true to size. I'm using them as my everyday shoes and they're very comfortable. I plan on buying a second pair!
Great fit and functionalityVerified Buyer Reviewed by LEBK from Denver, CO on Wednesday, April 19, 2017I wasn't sure the size would work, but it did for my narrow 7-sized feet. When I asked friends and family for a recommended hiking shoe, the universal response was Scarpa. I was thrilled to see them for sale on STP's website. Great shoe for our new life in Denver.
Slippery "grip"Reviewed by Field biologist from California on Thursday, April 13, 2017Pros: These shoes are lightweight and pretty comfortable.
Cons: Although the tread appears to be substantial, the rubber is actually quite slippery on a variety of substrates. If you need good traction and stick, these shoes are not for you.
These shoes are best in dry environments on either pavement or gravel. Even some dry surfaces feel slick, however. And really watch out on wet surfaces. If you're prone to slipping or twisting your ankle these are not your best choice.
Super lightweight!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Vombie2 from Kansas on Wednesday, April 12, 2017So far these are great shoes. I bought them for work where I'm on my feet all day (up to 16 hours at a time). They are very lightweight but still seem very sturdy. The insole is nice and squishy, and the mesh on the sides helps keep them ventilated. They have broken in very quickly. I'm pretty hard on my work shoes, so we'll see how they hold up. I'm hoping to get more than a year out of them. They seem true to my normal shoe sizes with plenty of room for the toes. The laces are a tiny bit short for my taste, but easy enough to replace if I was more bothered by it.
Great quality!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Yo2luzina from Texas on Monday, April 3, 2017These were really amazing quality and craftsmanship. So comfortable too. Sizing was a little of in my opinion. I usually wear a 39 and had to wear a 40 in this shoe. Definite worth the buy.
Light HikersVerified Buyer Reviewed by Retired Hiker from Florida on Tuesday, March 28, 2017Well made shoes but the sizing is based on European sizing and can be tricky.
best light shoe!Verified Buyer Reviewed by San Diego hiker from california on Tuesday, March 21, 2017Love these shoes, light, very good fit
Comfortable hiking shoesVerified Buyer Reviewed by Judy Sailor from California on Thursday, March 16, 2017These shoes are on a big side indeed. But although they came larger that I expected, they are nice comfortable hiking shoes.
Too bigVerified Buyer Reviewed by Susan from Utah on Thursday, February 2, 2017I ordered the size I usually take, used the size conversion chart even to make sure, and the shoes were way too big. I was bummed out and then I had to pay to return them;(
