4.0 out of 5 stars. Scarpa T4 Telemark Ski BootsVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Oregon on Thursday, March 23, 2017I've skied backcountry and in-bounds in both Scarpa T2s and T4s for 20 years, with no regrets.
Pros: Solid, well-built, comfortable, warm and easy to adjust fit (compared to lace-up boots or marginal NNN-BC boot systems). As always, boot fit is critical, so try them on and make sure they fit well for touring.
Cons: HEAVY; surely this boot could be lightened up without significantly increasing cost; most AT boots and virtually everything else for backcountry skiing has lost weight over the past decade.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Perfect for my ski setupVerified Buyer Reviewed by Yost from Montana on Friday, December 23, 2016Good ski boots for the type of terrain and skiing I do, which is a combination of rolling hills / low valley as well as heading in the mountains. Boots are surprisingly flexible and track easy, while giving enough support for downhill turns. I don't ski steep, full-on Alpine terrain and would imagine higher cuff boots to be preferable in that type of terrain. I've paired these boots with Voile 3 pin bindings and Madshus Annum skis.
As for sizing, my feet measure around 28 centimeters and I typically wear a size US 11 for hiking boots. Scarpa T4 mondo 28 were too small; 29 fits well with enough wiggle room for the toes (I ordered both pair and returned the 28). 28.5 weren't on the same screaming deal and my understanding is that 28.5 and 29 use the same 29 outer shell, with a thicker insole (and possibly thicker liner?). Pretty sure Scarpa's sizing chart matches US 11 with mondo 29, so as far as I can tell the sizing is pretty right on. I replaced the insole with Superfeet which I'd picked up at a REI garage sale some time back.
I like the no-thrills design and ease of use of these ski boots.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Lucky Lucky Me!Verified Buyer Reviewed by jimmytoes from Montana Highlands on Tuesday, December 13, 2016I had put off buying boots for years and luckily saw this sale for the T4's: what a great price! Only skied on them one day but can probably give them 5 stars later. Need to note that they were delivered in an extraordinary short amount of time!
