The super qualityVerified Buyer Reviewed by Andrey from NJ on Sunday, December 24, 2017The super quality of the bought shoes just enthralls! The size fits perfectly and on the foot sits like a cast. Very comfortable sole keeps the foot steady. I do not get tired at all. Very satisfied with the quality!
Great for my daughter, not for me.Verified Buyer Reviewed by SuzieQ from Colorado on Wednesday, October 4, 2017Other reviewers are correct, that you should order half a size up. My daughter loves these and says they are like Hoka Ones. She also loves the bright colors available. For me, I did not feel they had enough arch support, so I sent mine back.
Runs small, Caused discomfortReviewed by Amy from Cincinnati on Friday, September 15, 2017I wish I had returned these, but I held out hope that I needed to just break them in. I wear a 7.5 street shoe/8 running shoe. I bought an 8.
During and after each run I've worn them, they cause foot/ankle soreness that basically radiates up my whole right leg. I can't even use these for walking around. I've tried different lacing techniques with no change.
Overall thoughts: well constructed materials, definitely offers stability - perhaps too much for my right leg?, runs about 1/2 size small
I'm truly not sure if the problem I have with these shoes is that my right foot fits too snuggly or if their structure is affecting my natural gait. Maybe I'm just getting old.
I think I'll be sticking with mizuno, brooks, nike or new balance from now on - they seem to fit much more predictably and harmlessly.
On to my second pairReviewed by natalieg from Sisters, OR on Monday, August 28, 2017These are the second pair of Scott T2 Kinabalu trail shoes I've owned. Such a great balance of weight to structure to support. My first pair came from STP last summer, becoming a shoe I instantly loved right out of the box. Since then, they have taken me all over Central Oregon (and beyond!) until I completely wore them out. I was so pleased to see STP restocking these Scott's again! I actually went down a half size on my new pair (from a 7 to a 6.5), as shoes will stretch/mold to your feet with use and I felt the larger pair went a bit too far. Super stable and rugged, able to handle everything from fast smooth trails, to rock scrambling to super technical trails and the shoes felt great everywhere I can take them.
They are not an ultralight running shoe, but are light enough (10.7oz) while maintaining the right amount of cushioning and support to provide protection on very technical terrain. The biggest plus for me is they are super versatile and more than sufficient for almost all trail conditions. I live in Central Oregon right up against the Cascades, so from my house I can hit anything from soft sandy or dusty trails looping through the ponderosa, to loose shale or gravely river rock, up to the more technical Mountain rocky trails with serious elevation gain or even across long expanses of pitch-black lava fields, and the Kinabalu is happy on any terrain. The midsole contains cushioning so sections of harder, firmer trail feel comfortable and the sole system makes them almost feel like a road running shoe with the natural rocking motion. Heel cup is adequately narrow and enough for a woman's foot to prevent slippage while allowing enough front toe box room for the wider forefoot.
I really have torn up first pair, so I have literally tested them to destruction (350+ miles at least) and feel confident in saying how great and versatile they are. I cannot think of many trail running shoes which provide such a high performance and durability across many different terrains.
Good Shoe!Verified Buyer Reviewed by alli_gbite from Georgia on Tuesday, August 22, 2017This is a comfortable shoe with a good grip. The color is a little too bright for my taste, but for the price, you can't beat it! I ordered a 7, which is the size all my other shoes are, and it fits fine. It's definitely not a wide shoe, though. I intend to wear these shoes as I would hiking boots. I'm about to go on an adventure of climbing 8 of Colorado's 14'ers. I'll let everyone know how these shoes hold up.
Nice surpriseVerified Buyer Reviewed by Grand from NY on Wednesday, August 9, 2017New to this brand and wanted to try. Great fit, ordered half size up after reading other reviews. Comfortably wide toe box. And the price was right! No regrets
Nice shoesVerified Buyer Reviewed by Borderblend from PNW on Wednesday, August 9, 2017I'm a Brooks fan, but decided to give these a try. They are comfortable on my feet, but my gait feels off when walking, but then I have some issues from previous injuries that affect my step... I wear an 8.5 in hiking/walking shoes, and that's what I ordered. Perfect fit, and the orange is really bright and looks great. Overall, a nice shoe for the money.
Great shoes!Verified Buyer Reviewed by RageHezy from Boston, MA on Tuesday, July 25, 2017I'm not familiar with this brand, but I went ahead an purchased these shoes because I couldn't refuse the price. I am so pleased with the quality. They have great arch support, are snug and comfy, and feel great. They have a "lace locker" feature that keeps the loops of your tied laces out of the way - which is great because with my old running shoes I was always having to tuck them into shoes. These shoes are a great buy! Definitely recommend!
Great!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Mountain Slow Jogger from Colorado on Wednesday, July 19, 2017I took these shoes backpacking over rocky terrain as soon as I got them and was more than satisfied with their performance. Light, comfortable, and quick to dry. Sizing runs a little small. I'd recommend going up a half size.
Great shoe for the priceVerified Buyer Reviewed by Lizardo33 from Reston, VA on Monday, July 17, 2017Comfy! Well-made.

“I have a narrow foot and supponate. Is this a good shoe for my issues. I usually buy Brooks Cascadia but I was disappointed in the quality of the shoe on my last purchase.”
I couldn't say, because I'm the opposite-wide foot, and the suit me just great. I love Brooks too, because they're wider at the toe.
