I bought this for a 3 day rafting trip on Oregon's Deschutes River. it performed great. I like the opening lengthwise as it is easier to find what I am looking for and it still seals tight. My daughter borrowed it for an overnight trip, and now has declared it her's. I bought 2 more for the fami... Read More

I have found my first bag on the river very crusty and green with algae. Gear inside was dry, bag could have been on the years for a couple of years. You tell me, is this a good bag?

Not as big as described. Length is 28" but "diameter" is 11"x 12". Opening length just under 26". Nice bag otherwise, but undersized

Love this. Eliminates digging to the bottom of top roll bags just to find the last pair of dry socks. Nice work Seattle Sports. now, How about a clear bag?

I sent this bag back. While it seemed to be fairly durable and good sized, two major things were missing on this bag. First, a zipper for the main compartment. I get that it's a dry bag, but my use was more for camping and keeping things dry during 3-day tent trips, etc. There's no way this bag could be submerged as water would just flood in. The roll top does not seal tight enough. It also doesn't keep dust out very well. The black colored inside also made it very difficult to find any small, darker items that had settled at the bottom. This brings me to my second main point which is that there is just the main compartment on this bag and no place to put smaller items that can float around or need to be accessed quickly. The price on this bag was a steal, but I purchased a different duffle for twice the price that was waterproof, had four small compartments, a zip top, and removable back pack straps. To me the extra cost was worth it.

Perfect for longer car camping trips for packing all you need and keeping it dry. Plenty of room for several days worth of clothing and shoes. Well made material that seems like it will last a lifetime. I only gave it four stars because I wish it had a small interior or exterior pocket for smaller items that I don't want floating around loose in the main compartment.

  • “Hi wanted to know if the item is water proof and water resistant...Husband needs something for work (oil field) they leave their bags in back of truck...Wants something that can keep his clothes dry for when pour raining strikes...Also needs something that can carry a few days of clothes in...Thanks”
Asked by Aimee from Texas on 8/8/2016 11:11:14 AM
    • There is plenty of space for clothing for several days, the bag is big. As far as water protection, the bag is waterproof. However, it is a roll top seal only, so I would not trust to have it fully submerged for a long period of time. Rain should not be an issue.

    • Yes this item is listed as waterproof.

  • “Does it have a zipper closure in
addition to the roll top closure?
Asked by jg from minnesota on 4/30/2016 9:18:31 AM
    • No, it is just the roll top closure which buckles on the ends. It's a fairly lightweight drybag, but should work well unless submerged for a sustained amount of time.

  • “Dimensions are 14x28. Will this fit as a carryon? Most airlines have a 44" total circumference for their carryons. Taking the height into account, I say NO.”
Asked by Rain Man from NJ on 1/2/2014 12:57:43 PM
    • Most airlines allowable carry on dimensions are 22”x14”x9” for a total of 45” linear (all together) and weighs 40 lbs. However you may want to check with your air carrier since these may vary some from carrier to carrier.
