Did the trick!

I took a trip canoeing the Mississippi from the headwaters at Itasca State Park in MN 90+ miles downstream to Cass Lake, MN. Even though water levels were low, this was a fantastic trip. This was also my first canoe trip, so I needed a waterproof bag, which is why I purchased it. This bag carried all of our food for 4 days. It also housed our camp stove, stove fuel and perculator. It was a nice bag, easy to carry, easy to pack and certainly very rugged. But the nylon straps attached to the snaps to hold the roll top securely down, slide very easily and the roll top becomes loose. This wasn't an issue for us, but if we were to have tipped over or somehow dumped it into the water, I'm not sure how secure it would have been. None the less, I like this bag and do not see any serious problems with it where I'd stop using it. I have a few more canoe trips planned and this bag will be on all of those trips.
