I needed a bag that could carry a change of clothes, food, helmet, shoes, cell phones, cameras, and bottles. This bakpack has so many well thought out pockets, and once loaded, feels very secure. When riding it does not sway around and the back of your helmet does not hit the back pack.
The strap system is a bit weird, and need geting used to, but after a while, you realize how comfortable it is.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Annie from Kansas on Sunday, September 28, 2014I use this for daily commuting on my bike. There's only a few features I would change. For example, the clips by the chest don't have webbing or straps that would allow it to be adjusted horizontally. Instead, the shoulder straps meet in the center of your chest and clip together there. Being a woman, this is a bit of an awkward set up. The other feature I don't like as much is that you can't leave the outer elastic/nylon pouch unclipped if you open the main part of your backpack a lot. One of the great features is that you can adjust the length of the shoulder straps based on the length of your torso like you would in an internal framed backpacking pack. I'm not sure if it mentioned that in the description, but there's a place in the back you can unzip and move the straps accordingly. Overall, great pack. I use it every day.

I tried this with item 4168H the Liberty Bottle Works Water Bottle - 24 fl.oz., that has a diameter of 2-3/4" and it fit just fine.
