Tiptop shoesReviewed by jojo from Minnesota on Monday, August 7, 2017Super comfy, stiff and excellent shoes overall. My new favorites after using Mavic, Sidi and Giro in rotation. Wonky straps only negative, but very minor overall. Straps still better than Boas that get jammed and lock up.
So comfortableVerified Buyer Reviewed by Rachael from Boulder on Sunday, July 30, 2017I haven't tried the heat-moldable feature, but I put in the high arch support option, and these are so comfortable. My toes appreciate the extra width. Super light, and high quality shoes.
It's not all black & white.Verified Buyer Reviewed by Darmaggi from Venice, CA on Saturday, July 29, 2017Love the look and smart layout of the black parts where they are most likely to get scuffed. The fit is very good and I haven't even heat molded them yet. I like the unique set up on the upside down ratchet strap, it's low profile and secondary position. Firm arch support with two optional inserts. Can't wait to use them, but I'm laid up with a fractured hip so can't critique stiffness of sole. Since it's a closeout you can't beat the price.
Wow are my feet happyVerified Buyer Reviewed by Rachael from Boulder on Wednesday, July 26, 2017These have the best footbeds and the wider width gives my toes room for happy feet all day.
Love themVerified Buyer Reviewed by Scott from Upstate NY on Tuesday, July 25, 2017Other good reviews helped me select these shoes. I bought a pair and my son bought a pair. Wide size for me was preferred but not available in my size, so took a chance on non-wide and they fit fine. Love the high arch insert support. Have not yet done the custom fit and don't know if I never will, as I have ridden about 159 miles with them and they feel great as is. I ride with either very thin socks or no socks and they are very comfortable and snug and supportive either way. I would say size runs true. My son got the wide and is also very pleased.
AwesomeVerified Buyer Reviewed by okrunner from Oklahoma on Tuesday, April 25, 2017Shimano's top of the line shoe in 2015. 1/2 the Tour de France riders in 2015 wore this shoe. So what if it's two years old. A steal at this price. What more needs to be said. Beautiful, comfortable, light, fast.
Great shoes!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Chris G from Dallas, TX on Friday, September 23, 2016I haven't put too many miles on them (yet) but they feel good right out of the box. Although Shimano , STP and charts I found on the internet all tend to agree, in my experience the Shimano shoe line runs a tad big. For example, I wear a US 12 is a street shoe and all road cycling shoes. The size chart has this as a Shimano 47 but I had to go to a 46.5 in this shoe. That has been consistent for me for the past 15 years, too.
I haven't tried the heat moulding (yet) but I plan to. There are many videos and instruction sheets on the web to show you how to do it without taking the shoe to a store, just in case there are no dealers near you.
Read the reviews on line about this shoe and you'll find that - like everything else Shimano - the quality and features can;t be beat.
Nice cycling shoesVerified Buyer Reviewed by Nice Fryes from Colorado on Monday, September 19, 2016They are very comfortable and rigid for riding hills.
