Elite Sleeping BagVerified Buyer Reviewed by USC_Keith from Sugar Land, Texas on Wednesday, December 13, 2017This is the second Sierra Designs backcountry sleeping bag that I have purchased, finding the Elite model on sale was just too good to pass up. Sleeping in this bag is like sleeping in my queen size bed at home, I love being able to roll around without feeling trapped inside.
The performance does not match the spec.Reviewed by NC Backpacker from Durham, NC on Friday, October 27, 2017This is a cold bag. You can see through the bag, and there are many cold spots without any down. Ideal summer bag for a large, broad person. At $220, it's a great price, but I paid much more ($320) on REI garage. I question if the bag actually has 850 fill down though. I used this on 18 overnights this year including 6 nights on the PCT in Washington Section J and 12 nights in the NC, VA, TN mountains. I like because of the shoulder width and cut. I'm 6' 1" and very broad shoulders. It's a great fit. When in the 30's, I have to wear all of my layers and down jacket.
