This is a really nice jacket, well made, good zipper, etc. However, it runs about a size smaller than stated. I had to return, but as always STP customer service was great.

Bought this SD Maverick Jacket recently. I ordered it on a Monday morning, hoping it would arrive before a weekend trip to Yosemite. My order got delayed because my information hadn't been updated after a recent move. The folks are STP got in touch with me immediately (Monday afternoon) informing me of the delay. I called and was immediately connected to a rep. I straightened out the issue & my jacket shipped that day (Monday evening). Got it in time for the trip & it certainly came in handy. The jacket is great too. No hood, but for $30 it was tough to pass up. Awesome service from STP.

I returned this jacket because it did not fit me properly. I am 6ft tall and 175 lbs. The large size fit me in length, shoulders and sleeves. However, the jacket was WAY too big in diameter around the stomach and hem. I would have to have a pretty big beer belly for the jacket to fit properly. This sizing issue is made worse by the fact that the jacket has no draw cord at the hem. Jacket quality and style was fine, If you are not fat and want a trim fit, this jacket may not be for you. If you have a monster beer gut and have trouble finding jackets that fit your arms and shoulders while accommodating your gut, this jacket is your dream come true.

Nice and soft comfy shell. I like the soft lining. Great as a warm up jacket or casual wear.

I ordered this jacket for a trip to Europe to protect against likely showers and rainy days. However, when I got it and checked the waterproof rating for the fabric I learned that it had a very low waterproof rating - ok for mist or a few sprinkles, but not a real rain. In researching waterproof ratings, I also learned that STP lists as waterproof any garment that claims it for itself, without any effort to evaluate the validity or extent of the claim. I was a bit disappointed to learn this, and now will be on guard. On the other hand, STP has a comparison of the waterproof ratings of a variety of fabrics that is helpful if they list one you are interested in.

Worst jacket ever. Tricot mesh lining and outer shell have too tight a weave and they trap moisture within the jacket and do not wick as advertised. After first use, the lining was stuck to my arms and I was drenched. Unfortunate because the fit and styling are nice. I need something in a light breathable polyester that is not lined.
