Nice fit, good stretchReviewed by Pboro Gal from Peterborough, NH on Monday, May 28, 2018I ordered two pair - in black and stone. The black pair fit well, and have lots of give for hiking. I wish the stone pair had fit - I wear a 6, but that color only came in an 8, and they were too big. Hope to find these in other colors, as they seem like a great hiking pant.
Too longReviewed by Annie Oakley from Washington on Saturday, May 19, 2018Nice pants, but I got a size 12R for my 64 inch 130 pound frame, and thought the R length would be ok. Overall way too big, and about 5-6 inches too long! Returning and will try size 10P
ComfortableVerified Buyer Reviewed by Country trail couple from Tennessee on Wednesday, May 16, 2018A little baggy in the crotch but I'm hopeful that they'll adjust to my shape, as they're super soft, light weight and wash well. Great fit other than the crotch area. Maybe I ordered a size too large. I'm still happy I ordered these!
Great fit and comfort!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Hippy Mountain Chick from Washington on Saturday, May 5, 2018I wear between a size 0 and 1 so usually have to buy little girl hiking pants which don't always fit the best for a woman's body. I took a chance on these and was so pleasantly surprised. They fit perfectly and the soft stretchy fabric is the most comfortable ever!
A cute Style with fit issue at the front riseVerified Buyer Reviewed by LC from LA on Wednesday, May 2, 2018The pants are cute and the fabric is fine. Unfortunately, there is a serious fit issue on the front rise. It's a pre-production issue.
The problem coincides with the call out from another reviewer.
Runs very smallVerified Buyer Reviewed by Qno1 from PA on Monday, April 9, 2018I am 5"4 and 112 lb, and size 2 was way too small. I had to squeeze myself in, but it was too tight with embarrassing underwear lines cutting into my butt. It seems at least 2 sizes too small. FYI: I wear size 0 from Patagonia, size 2 from Outdoor Research and Mountain Hardwear (but size 2 are usually slightly big on me).
I am returning them.
Another favorite!Verified Buyer Reviewed by MT Hiker from Montana on Sunday, April 8, 2018Comfortable, great traveling pants, I turned around after the first order and bought two more to stash! They fill the bill for going from trail to conference meeting, for those of you that pair your recreation and work together. I appreciate the shorter length option, and for me, the size ran accurate. (sz. 4) I've already had a couple folks ask where I got them, so that's a good sign.
Perfection!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Cabin Girl NYC from NYC on Wednesday, April 4, 2018I loved these pants so much that I bought 3 pairs! I am 5'3" and weigh 120 lbs. I tried both the sizes 4 and 6, but decided on the larger size so that I could wear tights under them in colder weather because I'm taking them on a hiking vacation to the Faroe Islands and it's chilly and often wet there even in the summer. These pants are perfect because they look nice enough to wear out in the evening too! I plan to wear them for the long flight as well because they are so comfortable.
Nice fit.Verified Buyer Reviewed by Nicky from new york on Saturday, March 24, 2018Generally, these are comfy and a great fit. As I guess is true of all stretch waists, tends to become a little loose after a couple of hours.
Between 3 and 4 stars...Verified Buyer Reviewed by Kaci from Idaho on Thursday, March 22, 2018After some debate, I ultimately chose to keep these as the functionality, stretch, length, and flattering side and rear views swayed me. The thing that made it a close call is the fact that the fit in the front crotch area is exceedingly odd. There was far too much excess fabric, I think, which created gathering radiating up from the V at the inseam and up to the knit waistband. I assume this has something to do with the pull on nature of the pants, but I have never experienced this in yoga pants or the like. I am keeping these as most of my hiking shirts drape low enough to hide the gathering. If that were not the case I would have returned these. For reference I got the 12 short and am 5’2” 170 lbs. My waist measures 33” and my hips are 44”. This fit on the waist may have been a tad loose and I could possibly have tried a size down, but I think that would have made the thighs too tight. As it stands, this is an excellent pant in a great fabric that is flattering...except for the crazy front gathers.
