I purchased this to replace my Mountain Hardware rain coat which, after 4-5 years of use, wasn't looking fresh any longer. I was a bit weary with going to a brand that wasn't familiar to me but I was not disappointed, in the least.

True to size, nice cut and really great looking. Can be worn as a rain jacket as well as kayak gear. Love it!

I bought this Jacket for my wife, she wanted a waterproof; light weight; with a hood.
She was extremely pleased with the purchase and loves the colour.

I was a great advocate of this jacket until I was standing in the rain last week and I felt water dripping down my neck. I was in shock! I really could not believe it but, yes, there is was, rain seeping through the seam where the hood attaches to the shoulder. The jacket wasn’t even a year old and I had worn it fewer than 20 times. I was so impressed with this jacket when I first purchased it that I bought the same one for my spouse. Needless to say, I am no longer impressed and am now searching for a replacement and not a Sierra Design Zinger Jacket.

I purchased this to replace my Mountain Hardware rain coat which, after 4-5 years of use, wasn't looking fresh any longer. I was a bit weary with going to a brand that wasn't familiar to me but I was not disappointed, in the least.

I am 115 lbs and 5'2" and I purchased the small and it's a great fit for me. It has just enough room to allow me to put a heavy sweater (or a shell coat)when it's colder and still feel comfortable. The sleeves are a bit long (I expected them to be as most coat sleeves are long on me) but the adjustable, velcro wrist solves that problem.

I did wear this coat in a heavy downpour and the water fell off the coat as though I was wearing a plastic bag. No water seeped through. An ideal scenario would be if it was an inch longer but I am happy with the overall length and that it has a sloped, longer back in order to cover your back side from the rain.

It is stylish and functional. I even wear it as a wind blocker while doing agility with my dog. I would buy it again if I needed too.

The jacket has a nice look and feel, but it is not waterproof. When subjected to a downpour (or the splash of white-water rafting)the water soaks through.
    • Best Uses: Fine for light rain
