Heavy fabric, nice cut

I have a few other sun shirts and all are very thin. This one is more similar to my midweight winter baselayers. I'm still keeping it but I wouldn't have bought it if I had been able to see it in person first. It's good for breezy sunny summit hikes, cool weather adventures at high altitude, etc. UPF feature seems to work ok, I didn't get any burns at 12,000' over 3 days in bright sun.

Runs a little large, but most sun shirts do. Sleeves are a bit short---my arms aren't long but the thumb holes are uncomfortable. Fit is very flattering though. If you want something more fitted, size down.

This is my first Simms product and if the other sun shirts are like this, then this will be my last. They all seem to be made of the same material, though perhaps the thickness varies.
