I garden and I do not like binding Levis anymore so years ago went to Gremicci pants. Loved their quick dry and keep seeking these types out. I found the Simms to be of the same quality and lightness. For me they are wonderful for hiking, travel and everyday wear. I will continue to purchase this brand.

I bought these for hiking and climbing( not fishing) and they work well. These look very high waisted in the picture, but actually sit just below the navel. The fit was a bit loose, but I like that in a hiking and climbing pant. Overall, I was very happy with the purchase.

These pants are great. Besides fishing I wear them anytime during hot weather. I wear them for gardening and I wear them for going out!

Pants were okay but did not fit. Too loose and baggy. STP should give more info about fit as it concerns leg taper.

Was disappointed that one pair was a little tighter and didn't fit as well. Even more disappointed after wearing the other pair several times. Have washed them out by hand once or twice, laundered them once or twice. They dry quickly and look fine. The elastic inserts in the waist help the fit for me. Can we work on a cut for older woman's waist/hip configuration? We love hiking, too!

I typically wear a 10 or 12 in women's pants. I used the sizing chart and ordered the XL (even though I've never worn an XL). I want something comfortable and loose-fitting for hiking but the XLs arrived and there was about a 4 inch gap between the zipper and my waist. Otherwise the pants were exactly what I wanted and fit well in the thighs and were the right length. So I ordered a pair of Ls. When I tried them on I couldn't believe how much smaller one size down was. They were extremely tight around the waist and thighs. So there is no size of these pants that would fit me. And the large difference between an XL and an L is very odd.

These pants are well made. Be aware though that there is no stretch in the fabric and the legs are quite slim. I wear a 8-10 and the medium fit well. Would have given it a 5 if the fabric had a little stretch.

I love these pants! They are very lightweight and block sunlight. The zipper pocket on the left leg is most convenient. The only reason I did not give these 5 stars is the fit was not as pictured; I expected a full rise pant that sits at the waist as pictured, however they do not have a full rise and sit on the hips instead. The reason I had selected these particular pants was due to the pictured full rise. I am highly sensitive to sunlight due to medications, and these allow me to enjoy the outdoors once again without fear of sunburn.
