Most Helpful 5-Star Review
Verified Buyer Reviewed by HunterAngler from Kentucky on Friday, November 11, 2016I recently purchased the Slumberjack Bounty 4500 backpack and have been very pleased with its performance so far. I used it first for an elk hunting trip and appreciated its comfort, adjustability, modularity and spaciousness. Although I have not hauled any heavy (over 30 pounds) loads yet, otherwise it has performed very well for me.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Darin from NC/WY on Tuesday, October 11, 2016Great, functional pack, with innovative features that set this Pack a part. It is heavier than a traditional camping/hiking pack but what you sacrifice in weight you get back with features.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Rocky from Virginia on Thursday, August 18, 2016Fairly built for the price,, lots of pockets,,, this is an average backpack for short hunts or short no high altitude hunts

“Hi I'm looking for a backpack for elk hunting and I was wondering is this pack strong enough to hall out elk quarters ”
Well... I have not tried this. I will say this. it is a backpack that is built right, it is a bit on the heavy side to begin with because of it.
But an Elk quarter I would not even try it. i would recommend a lighter and stronger frame built out of carbon fiber. KUIU makes a perfect for this job.
Good luck to you.
