Most Helpful 5-Star Review
I'm 5'2", 125 lbs and the small fits me well.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by cat from NYC on Tuesday, April 11, 2017THese might work if you're a skinny minnie. I'm 5' 110 lb, which is not big, and I ordered a L because I know how tight they make these things these days. THese were terribly uncomfortable. I bought two of the SmartWool tights and returned them both.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by kathy87 from Vermont on Thursday, February 23, 2017These wool tights are cute with the subtle strip in them and warm so I can wear skirts in the winter. Not scratchy either.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Nature Lover from Jersey on Saturday, February 18, 2017Warm, well-made, great looking tights, and now thanks to ST, affordable. The cheerful, purple flecks enliven my sleepy winter soul. And size XS fits my lean, 5'4" frame perfectly--no baggy knees or slipping even at day's end.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Erica from Indiana on Monday, February 13, 2017I don't wear many tights but these seem to be warm and more comfortable than most. I am 5'8 145lbs and the Larges size works great. I am a fan of SmartWool socks and now these. Note: Not made in the US.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by WyoMom from Wyoming on Thursday, January 5, 2017I have wanted to try Smartwool tights for years, but am unimpressed now that I finally have done so. First, they run small--I ordered a size up (I am tall and often need to do that) but they still sad down through the day. Second, the ends of the little stripes of color fray out, usually on the inside but sometimes on the outside, so the tights are kind of fuzzy. Not the look I am going for. And finally "itch-free" is only sort of true for me at least; I wore them all day, but they were at times irritating.
