Verified Buyer Reviewed by jgp from illinois on Tuesday, March 3, 2015Wore one of my two pairs of new socks out on a saturday. By noon the rough seam had worn a sore on my foot and I had to stop at a store and buy new socks!
Reviewed by rakalm from Baltimore on Tuesday, January 7, 2014The tops of the socks have exposed elastic white bands showing where there is no wool at all. In fact, they are holes. For sure, the worst 2nd I have ever received from STP in my 30 plus years of shopping with them. I only bought 1 pair of these, thank goodness. I will see if my daughter can run a hem around the top to repair. Hardly worth returning. They aren't cheap even discounted.

“What are the blenishes in these socks that cause them to be 2nd quality?”

Generally, 2nds are because of minor cosmetic blemishes or irregulars which do not affect the fit, performance, or longevity of the item. Label is usually clipped by the manufacturer. A small flaw means big savings
