Are you as smart as a sock?

Smartwool Socks are definitely my first choice of hiking sock. I recommend them to all. However, for colder weather (below freezing) ensure that you acquire some cool weather rated socks - the ones with liners and are super thick - for sleeping. The hiking SmartWools are great for their intended purpose, but once you get comatose, you aren't as warm. Wicking is magical. Buy some, if only to wear around during the day. You'll be glad you did.
