Wool is good!

I like wool! Wool keeps you comfy. I wear wool socks all year long. it will out wear just about anything made from other materials. Nylon will probably last about as long but is not nearly as comfortable. I have worn wool socks for over fifty years from central Texas to the north slope of Alaska. They will absorb more water (sweat) than about any other material and still be comfortable. I am not sure what wicking does. It seems that if it wicks something away then it will wick it the other way also. I think it is an advertising gimick. Also, before I forget, Merino wool is the most comfortable wool I have found.
I found these socks comfortable, so far. I have only worn them twice.
Of course a word of cautin, don't wash in hot water and after washing in cold water, don't put in a dryer. Air drying is better for the socks and is energy wise.
