I had one pair that I used for warmth when walking around my neighborhood in the winter, about 20 degrees. Bought 3 more pairs for hiking in the Sierra Nevada mountains in September. Felt very comfortable in 80 degrees. Will try them soon in the Walawa Lake area and on Mt.Ranier, where it should be in the 40degree to 65 degree range. Definitely feel cushy and comfortable in walking shoes and light hiking shoes.
