A quality summer-weight sock

I have a serious sock fetish and own dozens of pairs by every major specialty sport sock brand. I have to say that most of my favorite pairs are Smartwool. This model attracted me because it seemed lighter than some of the others I own and I was not dissappointed. Being not as bulky as many of my other hiking-type sox, these are great to wear with casual shoes to work like loafers (the heel reinforcement isn't as obvious as the photo shows so they would be OK with clogs, too). The toe seam and inside finish, as with all Smartwool styles, is very smooth and will not cause any rubbing problems. Though moderately thin, they still have enough cushioning in the fiber to keep my feet dry and comfortable and would be suitable for light hiking and great for biking. I love the light teal color and they have washed and machine dried like a charm. I plan to buy more before they run out.
