Closeouts. As the seasons change, so do the challenges, which is why SmartWool's Microweight base layer top doesn't hibernate at any point in the year. Its ultralight weight plays well with outer layers during winter, and goes solo when temperatures begin to rise.

Reviewed by Mel from New Jersey on Tuesday, January 21, 2014This shirt is incredibly comfortable. I am 5'8, 210lbs with a 45in chest and I got both the large and extra large. I kept the XL for a loose fit. I have two other long sleeve lightweight smartwool shirts and a tanktop. I got two of them in size L for a tighter fit as base layers and two in XL for comfort and to wear over other clothing.
The 150 weight on this shirt makes it a very thin, comfortable and versatile shirt. I use it both for exercising and as casual wear.
Reviewed by X from California on Monday, December 23, 2013I have other colors of this shirt in the XL I like the XL short-sleeved version, but the sleeves are too loose in the long-sleeved version of the shirt. The L is good: the merino drapes beautifully without clinging, and the sleeves fit better. I can machine dry the fabric if I'm in a hurry, and it doesn't damage the shirt visibly, though I usually let it air dry. It's a good shirt. I just wish Smartwool made clothes that fit big women, or made brighter colors for men!
Reviewed by Joyce's Mom from Indiana on Monday, December 23, 2013Got this on sale for my husband in the red. He likes it, says the weight is nice and light, yet warm for under a cotton or flannel shirt. Color is actually a darkish red that results from thin lines of red and grey-brown, so not vivid.
Reviewed by Chesbay from Tidewater Virginia on Sunday, December 22, 2013Bought this for a gift. Recipient enjoys wearing it for outdoor pursuits.
Reviewed by Ryan S from Maine on Saturday, December 21, 2013Perfect for fall or spring time or active during the cold. Very durable
