I could not be more pleased with this product, used as base layer and by itself when the sun came out and temps were in the high 40's.

Reviewed by joepop from utah on Tuesday, February 18, 2014I would've liked it better had I received what I ordered….which, was a long sleeve and not a SHORT sleeve that they sent me…. I sent back requesting a LONG sleeve and all I got was notification that my card was refunded and did not get what i ordered. Must not have had any left, I don't know.

Reviewed by frankie from Texas on Tuesday, February 18, 2014This top is extremely lightweight! It is very comfortable in warm weather as well as cold weather as a base layer! I plan on buying another in green
Reviewed by Scotsman from Idaho on Tuesday, February 4, 2014Excellent base layer top by Smartwool. This microweight is very comfortable and not scratchy in the slightest. I have been testing this top by itself with a t-shirt over the top in 30F-40F Degree weather for hours at a time, and it has performed amazingly well. It is surprisingly warm given that it is a microweight. I do tend to run on the warm side, but if I am moving or performing active work as during these tests it keeps me warm but does not make me overheat. If it is windy or if I am hiking I recommend combining it with a midlayer weight. Today I hiked in 25F Degree weather at a moderate pace with just this and a Smartwool midlayer on top and I was perfectly regulated for heat output. Sizing is spot on for me; I am 6' 205lbs with broad shoulders and larger arms but average in length. Length of sleeves allow for mobility without losing coverage. Length to waist is long enough to tuck in but not too long to wear casually un-tucked. Compared this to Icebreakers microweight and overall performance and size made this Smartwool microweight the stand out winner.
