    • Sorry, the size I bought fit me well and were true to the specified size - so I didn't need to try and shrink. I imagine that the wool might shrink, but I doubt that the waistband will. Perhaps a return for smaller size would be a better choice. I have multiple briefs (cotton, synthetic, blends) and Smartwool is by far my preferred for overall comfort.

    • They sort of do a bit I think, I wash mine cold water and throw them in the dryer, After several washes you'll see some shrinkage, I love mine, they feel great, they're not very sexy though, I call mine granny panties , I bought about 20 of them in large, they feel snug when first put on, but like any thing made of natural materials, it's going to stretch through out the day

    • These will probably not shrink very much.

    • I sincerely doubt it. Wool does shrink with heat. If you haven t already tried. Wash your shorts then put them in the dryer. Some wool material might shrink, however I doubt theelastic waistband will shrink.

  • “Do these usually run a little small? I have big legs...”
Asked by Fishon316 from PA on 7/25/2016 3:54:05 AM
    • Yes. I'm a 36 waist with cyclist's lower body. I ordered 2XL (that's XXL), and they are not loose on the legs at all. Been ordering XXL's in all brands like ExOfficio, Terramar and Icebreaker and they fit the way I like. Don't know how anyone with a legit 36 waist can be comfortable in a Large. Certainly XL is smallest I'd recommend.
