I am looking forward to using these under my ski pants all winter. They fit good. I got the small and like the crop so they are above my ski boots

I'm a Huge Smartwool fan but these weren't winners. I'm typically a size large (5'4" / 170 lbs) and purchased them in my normal size. The waist band is nice and wide but the elastic seems to want to do a summersault and doesn't want to remain flat. Purchased the fun blue & orange groovy print in these bottoms & the matching top. Wish they had the full length bottoms in the matching print to go with the top that I love, unfortunately Smartwool only made the fun blue/ orange print in these capris. I like to wear Smartwool bottoms around the house, as pajamas and under pants when it gets real cold. The short length just wouldn't cut it for keeping my legs warm, as the majority of the bottom leg was exposed. The only thing I can see them being good for is if someone does downhill skiing, with really tall socks, worn as a base layer under ski pants. I like wearing capris when the weather is nicer, but I don't think they'd pass as capri pants for public wearing. I have a pair of plain black Smartwool capris purchased about 3 years ago and they are much softer & the fabric more forgiving. Due to a combination of things,. these got sent back.

I got these to match the top and feel groovalicious! Definitely true to size - these are warm and great under pants or by themselves.

I just finished a 4 day / 40 mile hike wearing these as a base layer. They held up awesome, minimized any smell and fit great under clothing. The size was spot on as I'm athletic build 5'3 & 120) and the leg closure was not too loose or tight. The pattern is so cool and unexpected.

Inseam on an XL isn't even 23". There's no way a Medium in this is a 28" inseam. Falsely advertised.
