Merino is tops!
Reviewed by Ravengal from New Hampshire on Wednesday, November 13, 2013
I visited my local gear store recently and it had the latest SmartWool tops...and I was shocked at how expensive they were. I started wearing wool tops last winter, having put them on my Christmas list and received two. I was pleasantly surprised when the tops did not itch, I really thought that it still might be uncomfortable. I wanted more. I started looking online for sales and ended up buying two through Sierra Trading Post. Last year's designs in delightful colors at less than half the cost of the 2013 styles! I got the plum and the turquoise colored zip neck tops. Wore one the other day hiking up Mount Chocorua. It was perfect! It kept me dry and warm. It was a bit cold that day, so even hiking up some elevation I never got down to the base layer alone...which was too bad....I wanted to show off the colorful top! Go SmartWool!
