Outstanding Skiers Mid-weight solution. Merino Wool and Nylon in a very tight silky smooth weave for warmth, wind resistance and stretchiness. It's purpose built for winter sports with no unnecessary fluff or bulk, making it glide smoothly down your ski jackets arms. No binding and bunching up in th... Read More

Fits well and seems like a great product.

Super comfy and a nice medium weight. Zipper is seriously annoying in that it slides down unless you zip it all the way up or aren't moving around.
Chest pocket will hold a dumb phone, but probably not a smart phone. Pocket is mesh on the inside, so putting keys in it is not the most comfortable. I wear this riding my bike to work when it's 40 F and stay plenty warm.

Great Smartwool Midlayer. At time of purchase I thought it was a quality product but very expensive. After wearing it this Midwest polar vortex ski season I'm sold on it's benefits so I bought two more just to keep as backups. I'd recommend paying a little more for a heaver midlayer than purchasing the Smartwool thinner base layer top (which I also bought) if you can only afford one. Nice durable knit construction. Snug stretchy body forming fit that with thumbholes makes it ideal for layering under ski jackets without worrying about selves creeping up when you put your coat on and stretch during skiing. And my experience with STP's customer service and dashboard is always 5 stars outstanding.

Very comfortable, warm great mid-layer. My son who is very picky about his clothes, and how they fit and feel now wears it as an anytime sweater. He liked it so much he wanted a second one. As we are referees out in the elements quite often, we each wanted the second one to wear as a sweater since we use the first ones we ordered has a mid-layer while officiating.

I use this mountain biking over a baselayer for the 55 to 40 degree range. Below that I throw on a softshell jacket to block the wind.

  • “I'm an athletic build female. Men's sizes often offer me more needed shoulder room. I'm 5'7, 145lbs, 39 chest at largest point with a 29 waist and 38-39 hips. Do I want a medium or small? Don't want it skin tight or overly baggy, as a running layer”

  • “im 6'2'', 180 lbs, tall and thin. I want to tuck this shirt in under my uniform. Is it long enough for my torso and my arms in a size large. An XL would be to baggy. It says length 27 inches. Where is that measurement taken from on the shirt?”

    • I am 6'6", 215, 42 chest, and 37 sleeve . The Large is a good fit for me. If your chest is 42 ish this would fit you quit well. Personally, I think you will be swimming in a XL

    • I have this shirt in a medium. There is no top of shoulder seam on this shirt so I measured from the collar seam center of my back (C4 spinal bone) to the bottom of the shirt and it was 26 1/2". I think it would tuck in fine for walking around. My concern would be how active you would be bending over a lot then the back my pop out. In contrast, my mountain hardware fleece in a Medium measures 28" measured at the same location.
